Easter Bunny

We are looking forward to our first Easter together with Wade. I bought a special Longaberger basket for him to use for years to come as his Easter basket. And someone found it early! 

I'm excited to have my parents and little sister in town to help celebrate. We are planning on doing some baking and sewing and the boys will be busy riding bikes if it is nice enough! We are staring a few traditions with an Easter donut cake and Starbucks on Saturday morning and a huge brunch at Minervas on Sunday after church.

Everyday Towels

Have you heard of everyday towels? They are tea towels embroidered with the days of the week. My sister in law gave me a set since she knew I was drooling over a set I saw elsewhere. They are so stinking cute, with carefully stitched outlines of a little girl doing something different each day of the week. They are very special to me- almost too special to use! Let's just say I won't be cleaning up coffee spills with these treasures! 

Sister Saturday

My little sister came to town to visit Wade and I. We had a lot of fun together-- we went downtown for coffee and enjoyed the beautiful day going for a walk. Wade just loves his Auntie Kitty. 

Birthday Post

It's official. I am 27 years old. It's hard to admit that I am now in my late twenties but I am loving life right now so I wouldn't have it any other way! I got Starbucks and donuts for breakfast, a bIrthday selfie  and a half day vacation to hang out with my boys. What a great birthday! 

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! The day of love! And what better way to celebrate than being with the ones you love AND doing the thing you love! 

I'm in the middle of three sewing projects right now-a couple baby quilts and a couch throw- but I couldn't help but get in a quick Valentine's Day stuffed heart for my littlest Valentine Mr. Mr. ❤️❤️❤️

RSV Recovery

Wade got diagnosed with RSV earlier this week! It's been rough to watch him suffer with a cough, congestion, runny nose and fevers through the week. Thankfully, NaNa came down to help us so that we could both work and not have to take Waders to daycare where he contracted the virus. 

Wade has been quite the trooper, enduring nebulizer treatments and constant bulb syringe torture but I think all the special attention is helping him recover quickly. I know it will be a long process but with God's help we can get Wade healthy again!
