Pineapple Mini Quilt-Quilted
I stayed up late a few nights to get the mini quilt sewn, sandwiched and quilted. It was one of the most fun projects I've done in a long time. I was so excited to use my new bernina feet-quarter inch and free motion. Since we were heading to Kyle's family's house for Memorial Day, I wanted to have a car project and binding seemed like it would be a good go to. I worked tirelessly till 11pm to get it to a point I was pleased with. It's so cute!! I'm very motivated to make a bigger version!!

Pineapple Mini Quilt-Prepping
I've cleaned out my Instagram and no longer follow empty celebrity life gossip and filled it full of fabric, color and quilts! I saw a picture of a pineapple block and thought I would give that a try. Since making a big quilt is just too much to handle right now (plus I have two others going...) I am making a mini quilt. It will be just one pineapple block with a cute backing and binding. I'll be able to practice my free motion quilting in my machine, too!
Tonight, after Wade fell asleep, I cut my pieces to the quilt. Cannot wait to sew my mini charms together!! 🍍🍍🍍🍍

Black Hills
We planned a trip out to Rochford to enjoy the spring weather. Fortunately, we threaded the trip in between some rainy days and we had some relatively nice weather! It was definitely worth it for riding bikes and enjoying the black hills green scenery. Wade enjoyed getting trailered around and toted around by his BaPa.

Mini Donut + Cupcake
Why not combine my two favorite sweets? Introducing a mini donut topped cupcake! I made these for my sister in law's baby shower this weekend to give as a prize. And I'm positive they will go over well!

Diaper Rash Oil
Have I told you I'm into essential oils right now? I have two diffusers almost always going. So when Waders recently came down with a nasty red diaper rash, we tried a homemade solution with two simple ingredients--coconut oil and lavender oil. Just mix one drop lavender to every one tablespoon coconut oil. Wade's bottom is healing nice
